TESCO is the name of the hypermarket operated by Tesco Group in China, one of the three largest retailers in the world. Since entering the China market in 2004, by the beginning of February 2013, TESCO has owned 115 Tesco hypermarkets, 1 Tesco Tiandi hypermarket, 8 Jialeduhui shopping centers and 14 convenience stores in the experimental stage in China, with a total membership of over 7 million. In 2010 and 2011, Tesco won the "China Excellent Enterprise Award for Social Responsibility" awarded by China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment, China Charity Federation and China Enterprise News for two consecutive years. In 2011 and 2012, Tesco won the "Seven Stars Award for Food Health in China-Trust 100 Brands List" organized by CBN and Yikang Group and chinese institute of food science and technology for two consecutive years.
